Hi, I’m Guylene Lucien, DNP.
I’m an integrative psychiatric nurse practitioner who believes that healing happens when people feel truly seen, heard, and supported, and that small, consistent steps can create meaningful change over time.
My approach is shaped by both my professional and personal journey. When I moved to the United States, I learned a new language, adapted to a new culture, and rebuilt my path in healthcare. That experience gave me a deeper understanding of what it feels like to be unseen, unheard, and it continues to guide how I care for my patients today. After more than 25 years in healthcare, I have seen how rushed and impersonal mental healthcare is, and I knew I wanted to do things differently. I take the time to listen, build genuine connections, and create a space where you feel comfortable being yourself while we work together toward meaningful, lasting change.

My Areas of Focus
You are not alone. Many of the people I work with come in feeling overwhelmed, unseen, or unsure of where to turn. They may be managing anxiety, depression, or ADHD — or simply carrying the weight of feeling misunderstood in their lives, communities, or relationships. What they need most is not just treatment, but a space where they can finally feel safe, heard, and supported without judgment.
I create a space that is completely free of judgment — where you can be yourself, speak freely, and take things one small step at a time. Because I believe that healing is possible for everyone, and that people grow best when they feel truly seen, heard, and supported.
We commonly support patients with:
Anxiety and panic symptoms
Depression and low mood
ADHD and focus challenges
Stress and burnout
Life transitions and emotional overwhelm
Identity-related challenges and feeling misunderstood
